BTEC SPORT FIRST AWARD UNIT 3
I started to teach unit 3 of the btec sport level 2 first award course during lockdown. 50% of the pupils have completed all prep work for 6 week project, planned a 6 week project and are on week 3 of the project. Those who did not do anything over lockdown have no plan and no idea what we are doing. I am at a loss of how to teach this group as some are on week 4 and have 2 fitness sessions to complete aswell as training diaries and some are only just starting the unit. There is only me available to teach the group and i have 20 students. Some are now requiring 1:1 support with background work to project, others need to get out and do sessions and some are at the point of planning the 6 week project.
DOes anyone have any ideas about how I could move forward with and how i could teach the lessons with everyone being at diff points/having diff needs etc. I cant do practical sessions with those who do not have a plan but dont want to hold those who did everything in lockdown back.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
