      Hi all,

      I was wondering if anyone has any resources to help my A-Level class understand the PNF method of training (AQA)? Also if anyone has any good ideas for practical examples other than hamstring?

      The rubber band method works well.

      We have some resources for a level pe flexibility in premoum resources.

      Practical demo of stretch
      contract relax on the hamstring works well also. I say when you contract your muscle the GTO(spindles) which lives in the muscle are overridden as they normally kick back as a defensive mechanism. This allows you to stretch further.
